The Warmline connects stroke survivors and their families with an ASA team member who can provide support, helpful information or just a listening ear. We have trained several members of ASA's national call center to answer your questions about stroke.
Warmline team member Dan Rodriguez went to work for the American Heart Association and overheard call center operators handling stroke calls. His compassion was ignited, because Dan knew he could be a lifeline with his first-hand knowledge of this crisis and the long-term toll stroke can take on a family. Dan cared for his wife throughout two frightening strokes and the aftermath of recovering from both episodes. Dan's experience offers valuable encouragement to the callers on the other end of the line.
