Understanding what's going on after a stroke is complicated and affects more than the survivor. Immediate family (particularly live-in caregivers), extended family, friends and co-workers are all impacted by the changes stroke may bring.  Stroke Connection is a great way to introduce patients and their families to ongoing education and support that assists them down what can often be a long road.

Having extra copies of Stroke Connection magazine available for patients at discharge, new stroke support group members and family members is a great way to extend your therapeutic relationship and offer the ongoing support that's so difficult to provide in today's reimbursement climate.
