Been There, Done That – Sharing Your Wealth Peer visiting gives new survivors an opportunity to see their own futures. When they talk to survivors who have been where they are and recovered to have a meaningful life, it gives them hope. Life at the Curb: Let’s Get Physical Everyday Survival features helpful tips for activities of daily living and resources. In this issue we feature dressing tips and clothing resources for people with disabilities. EDS Resources features organizations helpful to stroke families. This month we spotlight the Friends’ Health Connection. This non-profit organization networks people with similar medical conditions thereby creating peer support for recovery. |
