Agenda

Members gather in arranged rooms. Fairly regular Pot-Luck lunch. First hour of the meeting everyone eats and socializes. The second hour there is a guest speaker or entertainment. The group then splits up so that the caregivers can have a support group meeting. There are also some long time members that share community info with the group or plan additional social outings (sometimes organized together

Notes

Ages of the members vary. Some members had strokes 15 years agos recently. They help one an. The meetings are held mid-day so members can take advantage of Livingston Essential Transportation services. Members that drive also give s rides to and from the meetings. The group also plans additional social outings (like going out to local restaurants, bowling, fall boat tours, or baseball games. Members can join by calling the contact person. They will be put on the mailing list and receive the monthly meeting notice!
