The group begins by socializing and introducing themselves to newcomers. Round table introductions- members introduce themselves, briefly describe their experience with stroke. Sharing of "tips" with new survivors-their "best advice". Sharing of experiences over past month good and bad. Question and answer period. Professional speakers sometimes. Very supportive group.
