When you or a loved one has experienced a stroke, it can help to talk with people who have been there. That's why the stroke team at Texoma Medical Center holds a stroke support group. Survivors and their caregivers are invited to attend. The TMC Stroke Support Group meetings feature speakers and focus on specific stroke-related topics such as community resources, stroke education, social support, and coping skills and mechanisms. We meet every third Wednesday of the month at noon. You can register for the group at texomamedicalcenter.net/stroke-support-group or call 903-416-3627. Once you register, the program coordinator will contact you with instructions on how to join the video conference.
